Private marriage intensive · One couple
A private marriage intensive, built around your marriage.
For couples who succeed everywhere except at home. One couple, my full attention, and an agenda built from your own TRIM results instead of a generic curriculum. Three days in person, a getaway from the schedules and the kids.
Every intensive begins here
You and your spouse complete the TRIM assessment, then we sit down together, map what is really going on, and decide whether an intensive is the right next step.
The Marriage Review & Road-Mapping Session is $350, and it is credited toward your intensive if you enroll.
Start With the Marriage Review →Who this is for
Life works. The marriage is the one place effort is not paying off.
You are good at things. You lead, build, heal, argue cases, run teams, and raise a family. Life works. The marriage is the one place where all that effort is not turning into results, and you are tired of managing it.
You might recognize this
- You love each other, and you keep having the same conversation anyway.
- You are polite, busy, and slowly becoming roommates.
- Weekly appointments never get to the heart of it before the week takes over.
- You want concentrated time, away from the noise, with someone who already understands your pattern.
If that sounds like you, an intensive may be the faster way through.
Why this is different
Most intensives start on day one with a stranger asking what is wrong. Yours starts with a map.
Before we meet, you and your spouse each complete the TRIM assessment on your own. In your Marriage Review, I walk you through what it shows: where connection is quietly leaking, the cycle you are caught in, and the three areas that matter most for your marriage right now. Your intensive is then built to work on those three areas.
For one couple, that might mean learning to stay in the room when a conversation gets uncomfortable. For another, getting back on the same side of the table. It is custom because the work comes from your results, not from a script.
You also leave with a clear plan for the weeks ahead, so the work does not fade when you go home.
How it works
Five steps, and the first one is the Review.
-
01
Start with the Marriage Review & Road-Mapping Session.
You and your spouse each complete the TRIM assessment, and I review your report before we meet. Then we sit down for a 90 to 120 minute session where I walk you through your results and your three priorities. The $350 is credited toward your intensive if you enroll.
-
02
We decide together what fits.
An intensive is not right for every couple. After your Review, I recommend what I believe will serve your marriage best. That may be an intensive, a longer partnership, or both.
-
03
You enroll, and I design your intensive.
Once you decide to move forward and enroll, you complete a short planning survey about your schedule, your preferences, and the kind of getaway you want. I then build the agenda around your priorities and what you tell me, and we confirm the destination and itinerary together.
-
04
We do the work.
Three days. Private, one couple, no distractions.
-
05
You leave with a plan.
Before we finish, you have a clear path for the weeks ahead, and we talk about whether continued coaching makes sense for you.
The intensive itself
Private. One couple.
No group, no audience, and no other couples to compare yourselves to.
In person
Three days away
A getaway built to pull you out of the crazy schedules, the kids, and the daily grind. In Arizona or another destination we agree on, with plenty of time between sessions to rest, explore, enjoy being together, and put what you are learning into practice.
After you enroll
Planned around you
A private planning questionnaire tells me about your schedule, your preferences, and the kind of getaway you want. I build the agenda from your TRIM results and your answers, and we confirm the destination and itinerary together.
The days follow a simple arc: understand the pattern, practice a different response, and commit to what happens next. We plan where we meet together.
Is this right for us?
I will tell you honestly if an intensive is not the right step, and I decide that after your Review.
It tends to fit couples who:
- are both willing to be in the room and do the work
- want to move faster than weekly appointments allow
- are committed to the marriage
It is not the right place to start if:
there is a safety concern or a situation that needs to be stabilized first, or if one of you is unwilling to take part. This is coaching, not therapy, and it is not a substitute for treatment of a clinical condition.

Frequently asked questions
Questions couples ask first.
What is a private marriage intensive?
Concentrated, uninterrupted coaching time for one couple. It compresses work that weekly appointments spread across months into three days.
How is this different from a marriage retreat?
Retreats are usually group events on set dates. This is private, scheduled around you, and built from your own TRIM results.
Do we have to complete the Marriage Review first?
Yes. The Review shows what the work should focus on, and it is how I decide with you whether an intensive is the right step.
How much does a private marriage intensive cost?
I share the investment after your Marriage Review, once we know an intensive is the right step. Your $350 Review fee is credited toward the intensive if you enroll.
Can we do an intensive online?
The private intensive on this page is three days in person. If travel is not realistic for the two of you, ask about other options during your Marriage Review.
Where do in-person intensives take place?
In Arizona or another destination we agree on.
What happens after the intensive?
You leave with a plan for the weeks ahead, and we talk about whether continued coaching makes sense. That choice is yours.
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching, not therapy, and it is not a substitute for treatment of a clinical condition.
Will an intensive fix our marriage?
No honest coach can promise that. What an intensive gives you is focused time, a clear starting point from your own results, and a plan for what comes next.
Ready to start?
Something more focused than another round of weekly appointments.
The first step is the Marriage Review. It is where I get to know your marriage, and where we decide together what comes next.
